Raise up Western Missionaries
The path to becoming a full missionary in the Southern Philippines
The mission field in Southern Philippines is complex and challenging and NEEDS missionaries from all areas to infuse new vitality and skills. We have great need for Bible translators, practitioners of EAP (Evangelism-Apologetics-Polemics), health and education mercy ministry practitioners, and long-term Church Planters. Western culture is one of openness to change and challenges. Furthermore, Westerners are often well educated and resourced. This cultural trait makes Westerners uniquely suited for some of the most challenging missions environments.
For introductory info: here is the normal minimum path to become a full missionary. For those looking to become Bible Translators and Apologetics / Polemics practitioners, an applicable degree in a related field is normally required. This can be done prior to missions or DMI has existing training pipelines to do the required programs while in the Journeyman Phase of training. See details below.
If you are faithful and called, Contact Us.
Note: the field we work in has a low, but non-zero chance of interactions with violent terrorist organizations, kidnap for ransom, and various tropical diseases.
Phase 1: Preparation

Time to raise funds can vary significantly but generally take 6–12 months. Fundraising and Additional Christar Training are often done together.
